Researchers say drinking tea three cups or more a day is as good as drinking water. Not only will it rehydrate your body as well as water, but it might even give you the extra health benefits that water does not give you.

Dr. Carrie Ruxton, along with her colleagues in Kings College London, examined published studies on the health benefits of drinking tea. Her team found clearly and evidently, that drinking 3-4 cups of tea per day can reduce the possibility of heart attack, protect against tooth plague, strengthen bones, and may even prevent tooth decay.

“Drinking tea is actually better for you than drinking water. Water is essentially replacing fluid. Tea replaces fluids and contains antioxidants so it’s got two things going for it.”
